Coronavirus Update
Statement from Reconnaissance on the Coronavirus Outbreak
Reconnaissance is closely monitoring World Health Organization (WHO), regional and national government directives and guidance regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, with respect to travel to and attendance at our conferences. Currently, there are no indications that there is any risk to the forthcoming The Future of Cash 2020 in Madrid and we are proceeding as planned.
We are closely coordinating with our venue and accommodation partner to take all practical steps to address the health and safety of our attendees onsite at our conferences. This includes increased sanitary, cleaning and disinfection programs throughout our venues and enhanced training for all onsite personnel regarding personal preventative measures.
For delegates, we advise common-sense measures as recommended by WHO and the medical community, including keeping hands clean (we will be providing everyone with personal hand sanitisers), sneezing or coughing into tissues (along with the immediate disposal of tissues) and avoiding personal contact such as embracing or hugging when greeting colleagues .And, needless to say, anyone exhibiting cold- or flu-like symptoms should refrain from attending (as, indeed, is the case for any illness, coronavirus or other).
We encourage all registered attendees to stay informed of any travel advisories via their national authorities and also the World Health Organisation (WHO), and we will continue to keep the situation under close review and will update delegates should the situation change. But as things stand, it is business as usual and we very much look forward to welcoming you to Madrid on the 21 April.
