Statement – FOC Postponement

We have taken the decision to postpone the Future of Cash Conference. We have been closely monitoring World Health Organization as well as regional and national government directives and guidance regarding the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, with respect to travel to and attendance at conferences. Considering the latest developments, we consider this is the best decision.

Our first priority is to ensure the safety of all those involved; we also acknowledge that the event is causing major disruption to business and many of our attendees are now focused on implementing business continuity programmes; lastly, due to increasing corporate travel bans and restrictions, many participants would have been prevented from joining the conference.

The event is postponed to the 17th and 18th February 2021 and will be held at the same venue. The format is unchanged.

All conference fees paid will be credited automatically towards the new conference date.

Rooms booked with the Meliá Hotel (the venue for the conference) via the conference website will be rebooked by the hotel automatically for the new conference dates with guests receiving direct confirmation from the hotel once this has happened. Please note this may take up to a couple of weeks as the details are worked through with the hotel.

If you have made any travel arrangements with a third-party please liaise with your providers.

We are still working on the details of this postponement. We are putting together a FAQ list here.

It is not an easy decision to postpone the event and we fully realise that it is causing significant disruption to already busy agendas. We hope you understand that given the exceptional circumstances, this is the best solution and are confident that we will host a successful event in October.
